An important part of managing a tenancy is to ensure that properties remain in good condition, maintenance issues are identified/rectified and that a good working rapport can be built with the tenants.

Routinely inspecting properties is imperative in meeting those goals and maintaining all assets owned and managed by your organisation.

When properties aren't inspected or aren't inspected thoroughly, issues arise. The biggest problem with failing to complete regular inspections is that issues can become costly and detrimental, not just to our properties but also to our tenants' health and wellbeing.

This workshop provides staff with an understanding of the legal requirements for undertaking routine inspections, best practice tools to perform them and how to build rapport with tenants through home inspections.
