By the end of this workshop you will:
- Understand the role of leadership in a supervisory position and identify key qualities and characteristics of effective leaders
- Recognise the importance of integrity in supervision, and develop strategies for building trust and credibility with team members
- Learn different types of feedback and techniques for delivering effective feedback to team members
- Develop skills for receiving and responding to feedback as a supervisor and overcome common challenges in providing feedback
- Understand the significance of teamwork in a supervisory role and learn strategies for building and fostering a collaborative team culture
- Acquire effective communication strategies for promoting team cohesion and resolving conflicts within the team
- Explore ethical considerations for supervisors and learn how to handle difficult ethical situations
- Understand the application of LIFT principles (Leadership, Integrity, Feedback, and Teamwork) in daily supervisory activities
- Analyse case studies and examples to illustrate the practical application of LIFT in real-life scenarios
- Identify personal areas for improvement as a supervisor and create an action plan for continuous development
