This workshop outlines the fundamentals of managing a Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) tenancy. Managing SDA is very different from managing a general needs tenancy or residential rental agreement as they do not have the same rules or principles. Organisations who manage SDA must ensure they are aware of the rules, requirements and obligations that govern the sector.
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is housing designed for people with extreme functional impairment or very high needs. SDA residential agreements are part of the Residential Tenancies Act and are regulated under State laws.
