Join the ahi: Qld Branch for a breakfast event focussing on the workforce challenges presented by the growth in the social & affordable housing sector, current environment, and rising costs.

With the Queensland Government's Big Housing Build developing 53,500 social homes in Queensland by 2046, and 40,000 HAFF homes proposed across Australia, how can our public and community housing agencies scale up to deliver and manage them? What will this mean for professionals in our sector?

The event will include a facilitated panel discussion featuring a range of perspectives on the central issue of recruitment, retention and attracting workers to social and affordable housing (Public and Community). Speakers/panel members include:

  • Natalie Carrington, CEO of Bloom HR
  • Lizz Bott, CEO of Jacaranda Housing
  • Paul Tommasini, CEO of inCommunity
  • Christelle Roberts, HR Director of BHCL

We aim to encourage ideas and bring discussion surrounding the workforce issues faced by CHP's and HA's to the table.

All housing and homelessness sector colleagues are welcome (members and non-members).

To register for this event, please click on the 'register' button, OR feel free to email admin@housinginstitute.org and we can complete the registration on your behalf.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Registration is required to be assigned CPD points.
